For the Anima Christi Missionaries of Consolation, evangelization means going out to meet people where they are. Following the example of Christ and the Franciscan spirit of simplicity and presence, we seek to bring the Gospel through compassionate encounter, prayer, food, accompaniment, and works of mercy.

Homeless Outreach
Sharing food and fellowship
Sharing a meal and a moment of fellowship with our brothers and sisters experiencing homelessness. Food opens a door to encounter, conversation, dignity, and the assurance that no person is forgotten.
A Ministry of Presence
Drawing near to those on the margins
Consolation begins with encounter—drawing near, listening, sharing, and recognizing the dignity of every person. Sometimes ministry means sitting beside someone on the street, sharing a meal, and allowing that person to know that he or she is seen and valued.

Street Food Evangelization
The Lord hears the cry of the poor
Taking food, friendship, and a compassionate Christian presence beyond our doors and directly to those in need. In every encounter, we are reminded that God does not forget those who hunger or suffer. We trust in His providence and seek to become instruments through whom His care reaches others.
“The Lord hears the cry of the poor.” — Psalm 34
The Lord will provide. With faith in God’s providence, we share what we have and entrust every need to Him.

St. Anthony’s Bread
Sharing bread with the poor
On the Feast of St. Anthony of Padua, ACMC shares bread with children and families in the local community, continuing the Franciscan tradition of St. Anthony’s Bread—remembering the poor through acts of charity, encounter, and Christian love.
Come to the Water
“All you who are thirsty, come to the water! You who have no money, come…” — Isaiah 55:1
God’s gifts are freely received. In that same spirit, we seek to share food, compassionate presence, and Christ’s consolation freely with those in need.
Village Evangelization
Taking the joy of the Gospel to children and families
Our missionary outreach extends to village communities in Nigeria, where we encounter children and families, listen to their needs, share the love of Christ, and bring a message of hope and consolation.

The Ministry of Presence
Listening, Accompanying, Consoling
Evangelization begins with encounter. In our village outreach, we take time to listen, accompany, and share the hope of Christ with those we meet—especially the elderly, the vulnerable, and those who may otherwise feel forgotten.
Consolation is not only about what we give. It is also the gift of presence: recognizing the dignity of each person, listening to their story, and remaining close with compassion and respect.
Our Mission Goes Beyond Giving
Encountering the whole person
We do not simply distribute food or material assistance. We seek to encounter the whole person—with dignity, compassion, faith, and hope. Sometimes consolation is a meal. Sometimes it is prayer. Sometimes it is sitting beside someone who feels forgotten and letting them know that they are seen, valued, and loved.
